Bradley Smith
Young British 125GP rider, Bradley Smith is to sign for Aspar Aprilia this week according to reports after his his current team, Polaris World, agreed to release him.
Smith finished eighth place last weekend at the Indianapolis round of the MotoGP and will remain in the 125cc series for 2009 with the option of moving up to 250cc in 2010.
The manager of the 125cc and 250cc Aspar Team said,
“I have admired Bradley for a long time and I wanted to sign him last season. For me, he is one of the best young riders in the world championship at the moment and I think with us he can go to the next level. He has the potential to fight for the world championship next season and I am very confident he will be with us for 2009.”
