It has been confirmed that the Spanish, Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa, will be racing at the Catalunya MotoGP this coming weekend.
Pedrosa, crashed out in the practice session of the last round of the championship in Italy, injuring his hip. He then crashed during the race on the Sunday and after further checks it was discovered that he had cracked a bone at top of his thigh in the original accident and was told to immobilise his leg for the next ten days.
On Tuesday, the 23-year-old, underwent a final check-up in Barcelona and has been given the all-clear to race in front of his home fans.
Pedrosa said;
“I didn’t want to miss this important date for anything in the world. On the one hand I wanted to ride because missing this race would mean losing too much ground in the standings, and also because I wanted to race in front of my fans, friends and family.”
