On Sunday the 9th March in Qatar we will see the first ever night race under floodlights for the Moto GP World Championship.
This week the riders will begin on a two day night testing session to experience their motorbikes at around 200mph under floodlights. The 125cc and the 250cc will also begin testing for the event.
The actual race will take place at 23.00hrs local time and will be shown live on British TV at 20.00 on Sunday 9th March.
Testing will take place on Thursday evening although a few riders had a preliminary practice last November and the verdict was good.
