Here’s a pic for the girlies!

This weekend the Moto GP teams and riders head to Estoril for the Portugal Moto GP.

Britain’s, James Toseland along with teammate Colin Edwards, will be using Yamaha’s latest pneumatic-valve engine for the first time for the Tech-3 team.

Toseland said “Let’s hope the weather is a bit warmer than England this weekend.  I’m feeling considerably better than I did in Jerez but I’m still on antibiotics and still have a cough.”  James was suffering from a severe chest infection at the Jerez race.

He added “I’m really looking forward to my first visit to Estoril and I will definitely have the new 2008 Yamaha engine.  It should be a great feeling racing down the straight alongside everybody else instead of playing catch-up.”

The lack of speed along the straights has seen Toseland launching some daring overtaking moves through corners, which has been exciting stuff to watch.

Valentino Rossi, however, has reportedly said that he thinks Toseland was wrong to join the Yamaha Tech-3 team and feels he should have joined a Honda team for his rookie year.  Rossi said “Maybe Toseland has made a small mistake.  I imagine that for him it would be better to race with Honda.” Rossi, a five-time Moto GP World Champion, won his first three titles on a Honda before he himself switched to Yamaha.

Rossi apparently said that he believes Toseland does not have the talent of his other rookies but he still backs him to run well on the Tech-3 machine.  He added “I think Lorenzo and Dovizioso are the most talented riders of the four (the other rookie is Alex de Angelis).  Maybe Dovizioso has a small advantage because the Honda is easier to ride than the Yamaha, but we have to see what the 2008 Honda is like.”
